1) What percentage of your high school material (9th - 12th grade) do you think that you remember?
2) What makes you more likely to remember material from your classes? Is there something that you could do/professors could do/textbooks could do to make you remember more material?
3) At college/university, courses are predicated on prerequisites (the fact that you have already taken another course and understand and remember certain material). If students are unlikely to retain material from prior courses, what is the best strategy for higher level courses to build on what should be lower-level learning?
